Just because a graphics format exists, does not necessarily mean you should use it. New graphics technology is great if it is used correctly and appropriately, in keeping with the look & feel of a website. Applying a standard graphics "theme" to a website is critical. Ensuring that your webpages use the same style of buttons, banners, colour schemes and graphics features throughout, will provide your visitors with a comfortable and more relaxed feeling as they browse through your website. Using different colour schemes, graphics and layouts on each webpage is very unsettling for visitors trying to browse your website and in general, does not project a quality image to your potential clients.
